Rigatoni Pasta Granoro are short ridged pasta tubes. They are larger than penne and ziti and characteristically have ridges down their length, sometimes spiraling around the tube. The ridges actually make a better surface for sauces and grated cheese to adhere to than smooth pasta. Rigatoni is ideal with heartier meat sauces and so they are often the pasta used in classic baked pastas.
